war of the worlds...

last night, i watched the movie 'war of the worlds'... i was like in the actual scenes... like it was really happening... i got scared... after watching the movie, i was stupid when i thought of digging a hole near or underneath the house... so that when aliens visit earth and exterminate every living creatures, i, with my family, have a safe place to stay... i was paranoid...

dawn... around 3:00 am... when the flashes of lightnings with horrifying sounds of thunder woke me up... i felt the earth shaking... everytime i tried to close my eyes, i could see the pictures of people being pulverized by those merciless machines... i got scared... t'was a nightmare...

that's why i keep on yawning... i'm dead sleepy...

corny pickup lines...

here are some of the pickup lines you might use when talking to your crush or to your special girl:

* there must be something wrong with my eyes, i can't take them off you

* do you have a map? i just keep on getting lost in your eyes

* if I could rewrite the alphabet, i would put "u" and "i" together

* if you were a new hamburger at mcdonald's, you would be mcgorgeous

* baby, you must be a broom, cause you just swept me off my feet

* girl, you must be tired 'cause you've been running through my mind all day

* are you a surgeon? cause you've just took my heart away

* can i have your picture so i can show santa what i want for christmas

* i must be in heaven cause i've seen an angel

please don't dare to say any of these lines to her:

* am i cute, or do you need another drink?

* did you fart, cause you blew me away

* hey baby, you must be a sweater 'cause you got me feeling warm all over

* mind if you stand here until it's safe where i farted

* i lost my teddy bear, can i sleep with you?

* are you free tonight or is it gonna cost me?

* you're ugly but you intrigue me

dreaming tomorrow's a payday...

17 days more to go...

before going down to our favorite carenderia, i opened my wallet... oh my, t'was empty (of course, my pictures and other cards were there)... i tried to remember how much was left in my citibank card after my last cash withdrawal... then, counted the days left before pay day... damn it... still have to wait for 17 days... how am i going to allot money for these days???

for the past weeks, i've been trying to save... i was able to minimize the following: taxis, favorite food chains, gimmicks... hhmmm... maybe, i still need to recheck on my lifestyle... coz it didn't work... amfness...

haaayyy... i can't get over on the 'thirsty?' after lunch... what will happen if i can't have my 'melon-mango' shake or my 'melon-pineapple' or 'pina colada' shake... this is just one of the many things i can't live without...

ok... back to work...

my favorite things

(to the tune of My Favorite Things)
by j. benson & b. doll

card reader managers, output addresses,
drum operations and other such messes,
job names consisting of character strings --
these are a few of my favorite things --

input drum managers, functions external,
signals and waits in a quite busy kernel;
all of the heartbreaks that debugging brings,
these are a few of my favorite things --

chorus:
run-time errors,
missing modules,
sleep i haven't had.
i simply remember my favorite things
and then i still feel real bad!

five job descriptors and processes blocking,
go see ray hookway with both my knees knocking;
red eyes encircled by darkening rings,
these are a few of my favorite things--

(chorus)
